Closure Instrument For better positioning of the gastric band.
The MiniMizer Closure Instrument enables the surgeon to close the two closure stages of MiniMizer gastric bands interoperatively and without other tools such as alligator forceps, etc. This protects the gastric band. Never use traumatic instruments!
The individual steps:
The closure instrument is fed in with the nose down. Positioning on the gastric band, slow closure of the instrument, closure phase with inside diameter of 31 mm (or a length of about 11 cm) and closure phase with inside diameter of 26 mm (or a length of about 10 cm).
